BENETEAU OCEANIS 40 was designed by naval architects Berret/Racoupeau with the stylizing collaboration of Nauta Design for the interior.

In the cockpit, the BENETEAU 40 is appointed with two steering stations with navigation instruments nearby for ease of handling. The spacious and luminous interior of the BENETEAU 40 is highlighted with rich, light colored select Moabi hardwood and stainless steel to create an essence of warmth and comfort.

The keel is fitted to the boat by a system of screws and stainless steel backing plates and by bonding. The keel is cast-iron.

To increase its life, the keel is given an anti-corrosion treatment and improved finish in the factory before assembly, using epoxy-based coatings and paint.

2020 Updates

“S/V Irie Mon” (prior name) was put on the hard for 2 months in late 2020, with close to $60,000 spent in UPGRADES. This was all done by Nordic Marine, a certified B&G.
